"Among the greatest of all great services is the education of children, and promotion of the various sciences, crafts and arts." Abdu'l Bahá
The spiritual life is not the exclusive domain of adults – it is inclusive of all human beings. The needs and interests of children and young people are different from that of older people, however, and the international Bahá'í community recognises it's responsibilites in this regard to the young. Particular emphasis is placed on training individuals to run effective children's classes and animate youth groups thereby supporting young people in understanding and applying key spiritual principles in their personal, social and working lives.
Bahá'í children's classes and youth activities are open to all young people in Orkney as long as their parents are supportive, and if you are a young person and would like to attend a class or participate in activities you and/or you parents should contact us via any of the contact details on this site, and we will get back to you with information about what activities are going on, and what they involve.
